The 8th original album which has been released over 6 years since former album, "The Psychotic Friends Nuttwerx" was out. Though they released "Live at the Temple Bar and More", live-recording-style album, and their first live DVD "Live in Amsterdam" before this. But they had been going through many of difficulties till they made this album.

Friends of Spacy T, who played as a guitarist recorded the band reharsing and released that footage as a DVD called "Critical Time- Henhouse Sessions" without a permission and Fishbone never authorized this DVD. Because of this trouble, Spacy T had to left the band. And worse of it, original old member Dirty Walt also decided to resign the band.

If normal rock band countered such a situation, they'd never think they keep on act as rock band. But Fishbone, dovoting their lives for a long time into the music and rock band and never sold well, decided to re-build their situation. They signed with Silverback, management office, and gathered new members such as Rocky George from Suicidal Tendencies and Dre Gipson and moore and finally they made this album.

And how is this...? Have no words but "incredibly great!" You never know how hard the situation of the band was just listening the album. Vivid, colorful sounds. Ska, Regae, punk, funk, heavy rock, hard rock... showing this band was the founder of mixed-style alternative rock, or should i say they've returned their first place? It's really good this album sounds so "Fishbone." i don't believe this band has over 20 years of career.

Check out how the punky songs such as "Jack Ass Brigade", "Let Dem Ho's Fight", "Frey'd Fuckin' Nerve Endingz", "Premadawnutt" sound crazy and speedy. You might find the new taste of the band in Dre Gipson's vocals, chorus and songmaking, or drummer John Steward revealed his rap in "Faceplant Scorpion Backpinch." i like Curtis Storey's Mexican taste trumpets. And i must admit any times how wonderful the ska tunes like "Party With Saddam", "Forever Moore" are.

And through the tunes like "We Just Lose Our Minds", "Behind Closed Doors", they revealed their essence of political and social consciousness. With some humors, this album is really "Fishbone" album. One more thing to say. The message of "Party With Saddam", which says "Party till Saddam's your friend," gave me warm feeling. Other bands never be able to say this. Great!

i hope members will fix and the band explore more and more from the bottom of my heart.
