This is their first album as a full form. David Kahn continuously produced. Generally the sounds are in "adult" mood somehow. It's not quite satisfactory compared to the first album as regards its impact. Or should it be said that Fishbone, running too fast once stopped their step and showed us the wide range of their musical elements.

One of the features of this album is the fact that Funk taste(one of their roots) is prominent and that taste had been arranged as rather "urban" taste. Generally speaking, it has slow groove entirely. And since it may reflect the age of release, there are some tunes which influenced from "80's music," such as "A Selection," "In The Air." We can't see the expression of straight ska, punk music in this album.

Let's turn our eyes to the tunes we couldn't see in the former album. For example, the beauty of the melody in "Movement In The Light" is prominent and this proves they are great melody maker. The most outstanding tune in this work is "Turn The Other Way." It's a very cool reggae tune with the impressive wind instrument's phrazes and is the song Fishbone can only create.

Despite the change of sounds, the attitude of the band is consistant. Their way of being, such as the political awareness, the criticism to the society, has no difference from another works. The mention to the nuclear problems is still consistant, too.
